Brandon Ostwalt, MA, NCC, LCMHC, LCAS
My name is Brandon R. Ostwalt and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (13294), a Nationally Certified Clinical Counselor (NCC 887474), and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS-23751).
Throughout my career as a counselor, I have had the great opportunity to work with a diverse group of clientele of various races, ethnicities, genders and gender identities, sexual orientations, disabilities, political and religious affiliations, socioeconomic statuses, etc. The majority of my work has been with adults and adolescents who are dealing with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma disorders (including, but not limited to, individuals with PTSD), and those struggling with substance use disorder(s) (SUD). I have also worked a great deal with the severely and persistently mentally ill (SPMI) population who struggle with such diagnoses as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar 1 or 2 disorder, or who have sustained a traumatic brain injury.
Counseling is a process and it has been my privilege to help many through this process. One thing I remind all of my clients is that the problems that bring an individual to counseling most likely did not develop overnight, so these problems may not be resolved overnight. However, with work, they will likely come to a resolution. This resolution may not be the resolution one initially expects, but a resolution, nonetheless. And you do not have to go through this change process alone as I commit to all of my clients to move towards resolution alongside them the entire way.
So, if you are looking to start a new chapter in your own life, I would be honored to be a part of turning those proverbial pages with you!
